## Math 9 - Honors

## Course Description

This course is specifically designed for students who have completed Dimensions Math® 8, including Textbook and Workbook. Since Dimensions Math 8 includes many topics from Geometry and Algebra II, but does not complete either course, the Math 9 Honors course will cover the topics that are missing so that students will have a full credit for each course. After completing of Honors Math 9, students will be prepared to take Pre-Calculus with Trigonometry.

A placement test will be emailed to the parent and must be completed by the student in order to confirm readiness for Math 9 - Honors. A student who is not ready for this course should register for Geometry (on-level or honors) as the next-course, followed by Algebra II (on-level or honors.) High School Math Live does allow concurrent enrollment in these two courses, click here for more information about this option.
