Course Description:
Statistics at HSML will cover the same scope and sequence outlined by the college board for AP statistics. Course content is organized into 4 categories: data exploration techniques, principles of designing and conducting statistical studies, fundamentals of probability, and the principles of statistical inference. Students interested in sitting for the AP exam can discuss organizing group tutoring sessions focused on the exam as test time approaches for an additional fee. A strong grasp of algebra up to the algebra II level is presupposed.
