Kara Leyerle
I earned my bachelor's degree in Mathematics in 2014, and my Masters in Teaching in 2020 from Wheaton College. I taught PreAP and On-level Geometry in public and private school settings for five years before transitioning to teach Calculus for High School Math Live. I am excited to return to my Geometry roots!
As a teacher, my main goal is student success. I love to be involved in those "lightbulb" moments where a concept that was previously confusing becomes clear. Math has challenging moments for everyone, but perseverance and curiosity pay off in the end. As a former homeschool student, I am so excited to come alongside other homeschool families! I would love for you to join me in Geometry class this year! |

It is just to give you an idea of the rhythm of class.
Keep in mind, this is a live class, so there are pauses for questions and time given for students to work through problems.
