Kara Leyerle

I earned my bachelor's degree in Mathematics in 2014, and my Masters in Teaching in 2020 from Wheaton College. I taught public school for three years and private school for two years before transitioning to be a stay at home mom.
As a teacher, my main goal is student success. I love to be involved in those "lightbulb" moments where a concept that was previously confusing becomes clear. Math has challenging moments for everyone, but perseverance and curiosity pay off in the end.
As a former homeschool student, I am so excited to join HSML to come alongside other homeschool families! I would love for you to join me in Calculus class this year!
