At My Pace (AMP) Calculus I Course Descriptions
Calculus I is a challenging course that uses a college level textbook, Single Variable Calculus Early Transcendentals, by James Stewart, which includes all the necessary concepts to prepare for a rigorous college calculus class. The prerequisite for this course is Pre-Calculus with a clear understanding of the unit circle. Calculus is the study of change and motion. Our problems "move" which makes the study of Calculus exciting and engaging. Course A and Course B equate to a semester long Calculus I course at most colleges and universities.

Calculus I Course Preparedness Document
High School Math Live wants your student to be placed in the appropriate AMP course so that they will be successful and challenged while learning the beauty of mathematics. Each of our subjects have a PDF document that contains questions we believe will be a good indicator of whether your student is ready for each subject. Although it is not required that your student complete these problems, it is a helpful tool that we have prepared for you to use. Click to see our Calculus I Course Preparedness Document.
