At My Pace (AMP) Pre-Algebra Course Descriptions

High School Math Live Pre-Algebra uses the Glencoe Mathematics Pre-Algebra textbook. This course helps students transition into a teacher-taught class with accountability. We reinforce the concepts they have learned, increase comprehension, and begin teaching early algebraic concepts. We prepare students so that Algebra will make sense! Pre-Algebra is generally for honors-level 7th grade or on-level 8th grade students. (If a student plans to take Calculus I in high school, they should register for this class in the 7th grade.)

Our Pre-Algebra Course Preparedness Document contains questions we believe will be a good indicator of whether your student is ready for AMP Pre-Algebra Course A. Although it is not required that your student complete these problems, it is a helpful tool that we have prepared for you to use.
