HSML courses are fully accredited by WASC!
What does WASC accreditation mean for you and your student?
Below are some of the main ways that having accredited classes can benefit your family:
1. Your student's transcript can include a notation that math classes were completed through an accredited organization, thus giving credence to the level of education your child has achieved.
2. Your student's grades will potentially be eligible to transfer to a public or private school should your family decide to stop homeschooling your child. The admitting school has the final say as to whether the credit will be accepted, but having a grade from an accredited institution makes it much more likely to be accepted by the admitting school.
3. Accreditation coming through WASC helps students even if they are not in the western US. For example, if a student has accredited classes in CA and moves to TX, TX accepts the classes because they are accredited, so accreditation from any region applies anywhere in the US!
